• Drawing inspiration from their postwar “Advance Design” family of trucks, Chevrolet released their retro-styled SSR for the 2003 model year. Despite receiving upgrades throughout its life cycle, the SSR was never a runaway sales success, and production ended in 2006 with no direct replacement.
